Guacamole takes notes on your calls and lets Claude and ChatGPT read them. To do that, your calls are processed by cloud providers on our behalf. This page says plainly what we collect, who processes it, what we keep and how to delete it. We don't sell your data, we don't use it for advertising, and we don't train AI on your calls.

It covers the Guacamole Mac app, the web app at app.getguacamole.com, this website, and the private link that connects Guacamole to AI apps (together, the "Service").

1. What we collect

Your account. Your email address and name when you sign up, by email or with Google.

Your calls. While a call is on, the Mac app listens to your microphone and the call's sound, and writes a live transcript on your Mac using Apple's speech recognition. After the call, the audio is sent from your Mac to our speech providers to make the final transcript and tell the speakers apart. Then the audio is deleted from your Mac. The transcript, summary, decisions and to-dos are stored in your account.

Voice profiles. When a speaker in a call is clearly named, Guacamole may keep a voice profile for them (a set of numbers that describes a voice, not a recording), so it can recognise them in later calls.

Your AI connection. When you create a private link for Claude, ChatGPT or another AI app, we store only a scrambled version of it. An app using the link can read your calls and to-dos, and nothing else; it can't change or delete anything. What that app then does with what it reads is covered by its own terms.

Payments. Stripe handles your card. We store whether you have a subscription and until when, never your card details.

Messages to us. If you email us, we keep the conversation to help you.

2. How we use it

Only to run the Service for you: to sign you in, write notes and to-dos from your calls, show them to you, let the AI apps you connect read them, take payment, and fix problems you report.

3. AI processing

Summaries, decisions and to-dos are written by DeepSeek's language model. Transcripts are made by DeepInfra, and pyannote tells the speakers apart. Each provider receives only what its task needs and processes it under its own data terms. We don't use your calls to train any AI model.

4. Who processes your data

We share data only with these providers, who run parts of the Service for us. We don't sell it to anyone.

We may disclose information if the law requires it, or to protect the rights and safety of our users.

5. How long we keep it

Your notes, transcripts and to-dos are kept for as long as your account is open, until you delete them. Call audio is deleted from your Mac once the transcript is made. When you delete your account, we delete its data.

6. Security

Data is encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest by our infrastructure providers. Access to your data is limited to your own account.

7. Your rights

You can see, correct, export or delete your data. To delete your account and everything in it, or for any other request, email us from the address you signed up with. We answer within 30 days.

8. Children

The Service isn't for children under 16, and we don't knowingly collect their data.

9. Changes

If we change this policy, we'll update the date above and tell you in the app about important changes.

10. Contact
